JOINT PRESS BRIEFING

The BIAFRA AND ODUDUWA nations' joint press briefing was held on the 5th of November 2022 through a zoom meeting during which various representatives reiterated their desires to exit Nigeria as soon as possible. The representatives affirmed that the two groups are in accord while functioning in their individual units as created by God. 

Professor Adebanji  Akintoye, the chairman of the Yoruba Self-Determination movement, in his remark happily informs the world that the Biafra and Yoruba people have decided to collaborate for the self-determination and sovereignty of the two separate nations. 

However, the operations of the two nations differ in their quest to achieve nationhood from the forced amalgamation by Lord Lugard in 1914. The parties affirmed parallel continuity in operations and eventual nationhood. The two nations seek freedom and prosperity from the battered Nigerian system. To this end, the collaboration aims to facilitate faster achievement of their goals. 

Additionally, the leaders of the Biafran and Yoruba self-determination struggles jointly and firmly demand the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. Simon Ekpan expressed his pleasure in the collaboration for the liberation of the two nations. Chief (Dr.) Sunday Adeyemo Igboho further affirmed that the joint efforts of the two nations herald progress. The highlight of the briefing was the rendition of the Biafra and Oduduwa Nations' anthems.
